Our online programs are designed as a way to keep us connected and to offer support, encouragement and resources that nurture body, mind and soul.

Take a Thread and Follow It
6-week Virtual Series

This course is now full, stay tuned for another Online Expressive Arts series in June.

This innovative program will use simple stitching and other art-making invitations to explore and express feelings of transience and uncertainty in our worlds as well as ways to mend, repair and renew in a fresh way. These vehicles of expression can help to make sense of what is, by responding creatively to things that matter.

There is no cost to participate in this program.

Opening Windows…to refresh and renew perspectives

Abbey Retreat Centre is hosting our 3rd Online Retreat. 

If you are living with cancer and are interested in joining together with others to explore the theme of ‘Refreshing and Renewing perspectives” through expressive arts, restorative yoga, breathing and meditation and small group conversation, then we invite you to join us.

Living with cancer is already an isolating experience and COVID-19 has just added to this isolation. These retreats are opportunities to talk with others on a cancer journey, receive support and encouragement and to learn some practices to help reduce stress and anxiety. Our retreats are designed to tend the whole person – body, mind, heart and spirit.
